Kayla Fortin

Community Support Worker

Kayla grew up as an honour’s student and a avid soccer player.  Deeply passionate about the law, Kayla finished her Paralegal Diploma in 2022, again with honours.  She has worked for private law firms and in public, specializing in a wide range of litigation.  Although not in recovery herself, she has been affected firsthand by addiction both in her family and other personal relationships.  This coupled with her own experience with mental health, has made her a powerful advocate for those seeking recovery.  Kayla is a natural helper.  She plans to head back to school to further her education with a bachelor’s in political science and hopefully later – law school.
