Kees Poulus is a passionate professional with four years of experience in drug and addictions rehabilitation, specializing in second-stage housing and community support. As an alumnus and someone in recovery themselves, Kees brings a unique perspective to their work. Their strong sense of community fostered strong recovery principals in a couple of second stage recovery houses in Victoria. Born in Colorado and residing in Victoria now, Kees discovered their passion for helping individuals adjust to life after addiction. Working at Cedars, they find connection and embody the program's compassion and values. Kees's approach to recovery integrates 12-step principles with a wholistic perspective, emphasizing spiritual, interpersonal, and internal connections. Through their own journey, Kees understands the isolation of addiction, driving them to guide others towards a fulfilling life.
