Paula was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She slowly migrated towards Vancouver Island in 2000. Once she experienced the ocean, mild weather, and roadside fruit stands she knew she was here to stay. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007 and has worked in various settings like labour/delivery, maternity, pediatrics, public health, teaching, and addictions and mental health. This, as well as a family history of mental health and addictions, has continued to build and maintain a passion for supporting people in their journey to live a more authentic and joyful life. Paula graduated in April 2023 with her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and completed an eight-month practicum here at Cedars before being hired as a full-time clinician.
