R-Jay was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba until his own personal recovery journey brought him to Cedars in 2014. Through the experience of the continuum of care that Cedars provides, he found a new way of life on the west coast and has transitioned that experience into his passion, providing the same experience for anyone new on their recovery journey. R-Jay brings years of experience in the Cedars supportive recovery living program which he has been a instrumental piece since 2016. He is currently finishing his CACCF certification and looks to pursue a master’s degree in counselling.
