Devon Silver, BSW
Devon grew up on Vancouver Island and lived as far afield as Alert Bay (home of the world’s tallest totem pole) and Dawson Creek before returning to the Island recently. Devon education in Mental Health and Addiction began when he attended Okanagan University College and completed his Baccalaureate in Social Work in 2005.
After relocating to Lake Cowichan during the COVID 19 pandemic to be closer to family, Devon applied to work at Cedars to further his professional development and be part of a fun, smart, and dynamic clinical environment. Devon brings a sense of creativity, humour, and a boundless excitement to learn to the Cedar’s team. Devon’s future goals include completing his Master’s thesis, and continuing to make healthy lifestyle decisions. When he’s not at work, Devon enjoys watching movies, kayaking, hiking, and reading.
