Kathleen Stevens, BA
Kathleen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Mental Health and Addiction, and is currently in the progress of obtaining her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology. After working as Support Staff at Cedars, Kathleen transitioned to the Clinical team. She approaches work using her rich history of counseling and social work, including fifteen years in child protection services and as a mental health/social work partner with police services. Kathleen is passionate about addiction treatment because of the emotional transformative experience that patients undergo throughout their process. Those close to Kathleen describe her as witty, humorous, and intelligent. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and riding her horse, where on the rare occasion, she may fall off. One thing is certain, Kathleen will always get back on again to enjoy another stroll through the beautiful trails on the island.
