Community Support Worker
I was born and raised in Windsor, ON and moved to the Island in 2012 at the beginning stages of my recovery. I began my recovery journey in the summer of 2011 and have built a beautiful sober life through the years. I pursued a B.A. double minor in sociology and psychology from Vancouver Island University. Through my educational journey I attained a specialization in Addiction certificate. I have an extensive range of experience working in the human services field. I found my passion in trauma-informed care and creating a strong recovery community. Horses are my souls calling. My dog Nel organed from Mexico and joined our family in April 2022. Nel has been by my side from the beginning of my cedars journey.
