Simone grew up in Powell River, BC and currently resides in Langford outside Victoria.
Simone obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UVic in 2013 and is currently working on her Masters of Counselling at Athabasca University, set to graduate August 2021.
Simone was drawn to Cedars because she wanted to help those who sought treatment as a close family member never got a chance to, so her heart is in facilitating growth and healing for those impacted by addiction, both individuals and their families.
Simone brings a strong work ethic and seeks to constantly improve herself and her practice. She brings a sense of passion, excitement, and a curiosity for how people grow and heal to all her interactions on Cedar’s campus.
Simone hopes to finish her masters and continue to expand her knowledge around counselling people with addictions.
One day, Simone hopes to become a personal trainer and incorporate healthy exercise into addiction recovery and to be a leader within her community.
When she’s not at Cedars, Simone likes to run, do Crossfit, and hang out with her husband and dog. She also likes to read and enjoy the occasional spa day.
