Community Support Worker
Toni grew up in Calgary AB, and currently resides in Shawnigan Lake BC.
Toni has a diverse educational background studying Anthropology and Writing at the University of Victoria and University of Saskatchewan — she has also completed training as a birth doula. Toni brings a gentleness, empathy, perspective, and humour to her interactions here on Cedar’s campus. Toni seeks to gain a better understanding of the physical, mental, and spiritual components required to heal from addiction and to connect with patients through their shared human experiences. Toni’s goals for the future include finishing a novel manuscript, learning a language from her ancestral lineage, and one day living on a little hobby farm.
In her spare time, Toni enjoys writing fiction, playing banjo, cooking and spending time exploring the outdoors with her partner and baby.
Bonus Fun Fact: Toni has an uncanny memory for birthdays and lyrics to any song from the 90s.
