Virginia Griffiths

Orientation, Training, and Safety Coordinator

Virginia has always had a passion for helping others from young age, volunteering for many different communities, churches and organizations her entire life. After she grew up on Bowen Island, she moved to downtown Vancouver for 10 years and her life in recovery bloomed. Here she worked for multiple recovery societies, shelters, as well as sitting on a Board and being A local organizer for Amnesty International.

Virginia is an alumni of Cedars. She found her home now in Langford, who she shares with her partner, black cat Gotham, and Sheltie dog Shea. She started at Cedars first as a CSW and now has transitioned into the role of Orientation, Training and Safety Coordinator. She loves people and hearing their life stories. You will often see her smiling, dancing, and greeting everyone she runs into around Cedars!
